The Samsung Galaxy S22 series featuring South Korean company Samsung's new flagship smartphones was launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. Like last year i.e. 2021, Samsung has launched 3 new S-series smartphones. This year's lineup includes the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
 
All the smartphones are high-end smartphones and are equipped with the new chipset. It has an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung has increased the charging speed for the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra models, which offer 45W wired charging.  
 
The company says that the advanced "Nitography" low light photography feature in the Galaxy S22 series has also been improved. The Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ models share the same camera setup, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S-series to be housed in the phone's chassis.  
 
Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. While the high-end Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have 8GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage options. 
 
Talking about the prices, the price of Galaxy S22 starts at $ 799 i.e. around Rs 59,900 and the price of Galaxy S22 Plus is $ 999 i.e. around Rs 74,800. The price of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at $1,199 i.e. around Rs 89,700. All these prices are approximate. The price of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India has not yet been disclosed by the company. According to Samsung, the Galaxy S22 series smartphones will be available from February 25.
